Maybe Bulbophyllum grandiflorum Blume 1847

Grammatophyllum speciosum Blume 1825

This plant was given to me in 1995, then it was barely the size of my little finger.  It was fresh from a community pot.  It took twelve years to reach blooming size.  This year it produced two massive inflorescences.

Paphiopedilum Landmark (glaucophyllum x sanderianum)

Sudamerlycaste peruviana (Rolfe) Archila 2002, var peruviana

Pelexia adnata (Sw.) Poit. ex Rich 1818, Bosque de Rio Abajo, Puerto Rico

Most afternoons, when it doesn't rain, I jog in the forest trails.  Most of the vegetation by the trail sides is either ferns or weeds, but occasionally I see something unusual.  A few weeks ago I noticed this orchid.  However the flowers are tiny and the plant is small so it hardly stands out from the surrounding plants.

Microchilus species, in the forest understory, Guilarte Peak, Puerto Rico

While walking on the trail that leads to the top of the Guilarte peak, I found a some plants of this species blooming.  I found several plants to only two still had flowers as its blooming season in this locality is ending.

Phalaenopsis stuartiana Rchb.f. 1881

Seen in the 2017 Puerto Rico orchid society show.

Paphiopedilum St. Swithin 'El cotorro electrico'

This is the third spike this plant has put out on 2017.  I didn't photograph the first blooming, with two spikes because I was very busy and when I found time, the flowers were not at their best.  Hopefully next year it will bloom even better.  Usually it produces four flower per inflorescence, in this one it only produced two and of a lesser size than other blooming.

Dendrobium Silver King

Dendrobium Jairak Fire Horn 'Cooper Prince' AM/AOS.

Really liked the color of this one.  The flowers are large and richly colored.  The plant was in the middle of a group of many other Dendrobium and other orchids which made it impossible to take a good side view of the inflorescence.  If this one grows as large as other antilope Dendrobium plants, it will be a truly spectacular.

Dendrobium lineale Rolfe 1889

Dendrobium (Amana Kutin x sutiknoi) x Den Constance)
